Professional Counseling Resources, LLC is owned and operated by psychologist G. Howard Davol PhD and Terry Macinata, MA, CDP. Each has over 25 years of experience in counseling and assessment.

Mission Statement

Professional Counseling Resources, LLC is dedicated to assisting substance abuse counselors to provide comprehensive assessments tailored to meet their clients needs. We are dedicated to advancing the field of counseling by developing high quality, cost-effective materials, programs, and services to successfully meet the difficult challenges of case management, clinical documentation, and audits. Our aim is to make the business aspects of chemical dependency more profitable, more effective, and less stressful. Ultimately, as a result of our services, we hope that the hard work and effort of those in the chemical dependency field will be appreciated even more for the quality and volume of work they accomplish.

Our Philosophy

Counselors are increasingly being held to higher standards of clinical skills and documentation. At PCR, we are dedicated to exceeding those high standards, while assisting counselors and supervisors to be more efficient. We are excited by the opportunities to develop and integrate new assessment and treatment tools to make treatment even more effective. In addition, we realize that chemical dependency agencies are businesses which operate within both time and cost constraints.
